As the core district of Shanghai, Jing’an has a total of 48 representative intangible cultural heritage items in six main categories: traditional drama, traditional fine arts, folk art, traditional Chinese medicine, traditional entertainment and acrobatics.

To further demonstrate Jing’an’s innovative approach to cultural preservation, ensuring historical heritage is both inherited and perpetuated. Through artistic exchange, its deepen Hongkongers’ understanding of the country while strengthening nationalist sentiment. This exhibition also aims to promote cultural exchanges between Shanghai and Hong Kong, and it deepens collaboration and the integrated development of the sector in the two places.
